The Winnipeg ICE congratulate forward Zach Benson on being named to the roster of the 2023 Kubota CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game.

The game scheduled for Wednesday, January 25th, 2023 at the Langley Events Centre, will feature the top 40 CHL players eligible for the 2023 NHL Draft this summer in Nashville.

The ICE selected Benson in the first round, 14th overall in the 2020 WHL Prospects Draft.

Benson continues the tradition of the following ICE players who played in the Kubota CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game: Conor Geekie (2022), Matthew Savoie (2022), Peyton Krebs (2019), Cale Fleury (2017), Sam Reinhart (2014), Brayden McNabb (2009), Nathan Lieuwen (2009), John Negrin (2007), Lukas Bohunicky (2006), Ben Maxwell (2006), Andy Thompson (2002), Dan Blackburn (2001), Jarret Stoll (2000), Kyle Wanvig (1999), Steve McCarthy (1999).

Santa will be at the ICE Cave and ICE fans are encouraged to wear their ugly holiday sweaters for a chance to win prizes.
