Shorts Assists Hitmen Victory

Calgary, AB - Riley Stotts had a career-high four points, all assists, to lead the Calgary Hitmen past the Moose Jaw Warriors 5-1 on Sunday at the Scotiabank Saddledome.

Kaden Elder and James Malm both scored twice for the Hitmen who snapped the Warriors eight game winning streak.

Egor Zamula also lit the lamp for the home side who won two of three games this weekend.

Rookie goaltender Jack McNaughton made 33 saves, including 17 in the third period to preserve the win.

Justin Almeida scored the lone goal for Moose Jaw.

Calgary now will enjoy a four day break before hosting former teammate Andrew Fyten and the Swift Current Broncos on Friday, Dec. 7. Game time is 7:00 p.m. at the 'Dome for the first of four meetings this season between the two clubs.

It's also RE/MAX Chuck-A-Puck where four lucky participants will win a hot air balloon ride courtesy of RE/MAX.

Game 4 of the Hitmen five-game homestand continues with Kamloops in the 'Dome on Sunday, Dec. 9 for The Brick Teddy Bear Toss. Game time that day is 2:00 p.m. with doors opening early at 12:30 p.m. Fans are asked to bring a new or gently used stuffed toy to the game to toss on the ice when the Hitmen score their first goal.

Press-level seating is open for The Brick Teddy Bear Toss. Tickets are available starting at $14.99 for adults and $9.99 for students and kids (plus applicable fees and taxes).
