Everett, WA - The Kootenay ICE put 36 shots on the Everett but couldn't get any by the Silvertips goaltender in a 3-0 loss to Everett at Angel of the Winds Arena on Saturday night.

ICE goaltender Jesse Makaj was outstanding, stopping 42-of-44 shots in the loss. He was named the second star of the game. Newly acquired forwards Austin Schellenberg and River Fahey made their ICE debut.

The Silvertips received goals from Luke Ormsby, Bryce Kindopp and Gianni Fairbrother. 'Tips goaltender Max Palaga stopped all 36 shots that came his way.
