STAT OF THE DAY: The Shorebirds are 5-1 this season when Jacob Pettit takes the hill.

PREVIEW: The Shorebirds aim for a series split in the finale of the road trip against the Hagerstown Suns. Delmarva managed only two hits between innings four and nine last night as the Suns scored 11 unanswered runs to win game three 11-5. The Shorebirds have dropped only one series this season, between April 11 and 14 to Kannapolis. The 'Birds have won 15 of their last 19 games and currently stand in third place in the Northern Division, two games behind Hagerstown.

15 of 29: Kipp Schutz has recorded at least one RBI in 15 of 29 games played this season. Schutz has an RBI in seven of his last ten games. After a 3-for-4 night last night, Schutz now ranks second in the South Atlantic League with a .381 batting average. He is 11th in all of Minor League Baseball in batting average.

7 OUTFIELD ASSISTS: Brenden Webb recorded his seventh outfield assist of the season last night when he threw Blake Kelso out at third in the sixth inning. Webb is tied for the SAL lead in outfield assists with Daniel Adamson of Lexington.

INNINGS 4-9: The Shorebirds have gone scoreless between innings four and nine over the last two nights. They had just one hit over the final five innings in game two and managed just two hits over the final five innings last night.

LONGEST ROAD HIT STREAK: Jonathan Schoop is currently riding a 16-game road hitting streak, the longest in the South Atlantic League this season. He is 27-for-89 (.303) this season on the road. Schoop is also on a 10-game overall streak, his second double-figure hitting streak of the season.

WEAVER COMING TO ALL-STAR GAME: Hall of Fame manager Earl Weaver is scheduled to appear at the 2011 SAL All-Star Game Fan Fest on June 21. Weaver managed the Orioles for 17 years and totaled 1,480 wins, 19th most amongst 20th century managers. His #4 jersey was also retired by the Orioles. Weaver will sign autographs from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at Perdue Stadium.

11-GAME ON-BASE: Ty Kelly has reached in 11 straight games dating back to April 20.
