5th IN THE LEAGUE: Garabez Rosa has climbed into the SAL's top ten in batting average (.353) for the first time this season. He notched two more doubles in game one against the Tourists. He ranks second in the league with 11.

6 BULLPEN WINS: The Shorebirds bullpen has earned six of the 11 Shorebirds wins.

ROAD WARRIORS: The Shorebirds are 8-4 away from Perdue Stadium and 3-5 at home this season. The 'Birds are hitting .281 on the road and just .223 at home. The 'Birds have scored 76 runs in 12 games on the road (6.33 per), while they scored 31 runs in eight games at home (3.87 per).

8 RBI IN 8 GAMES: Gary Helmick connected on a big two-run double to left field in last night's game to tie the score at 3-3. Helmick has produced eight RBIs in just eight games. He notched a career best five RBIs against Greensboro on April 14.

OBP LEADER: Shorebirds right fielder Brian Conley leads the circuit with a .449 on-base percentage.

RARE STRIKEOUT: Ty Kelly ranks second in the league in fewest strikeouts per total plate appearances. He is striking out only once every 13.17 plate appearances. Kelly has been fanned only six times this season.

SURRENDERING THE HOMER: The Shorebirds lead the league in homers allowed (15). However, the 'Birds pitchers have not allowed a homer in the last four games. The last home run was on 4/23 when Brent Weaver (Greensboro) connected on an 11th innings homer.
