Senators Send Four to All-Stars

Harrisburg Senators News Release
The Harrisburg Senators announced today four members of the Senators' team have been named to the Southern Division Squad for this year's Eastern League All-Star Game. The game will be played on Wednesday, July 14th in Bowie, MD.
The teams were selected through Rite Aid Fan Balloting and those selected in votes placed by team managers and the media. For the Senators, pitcher Mike Hinckley and shortstop Josh Labandeira were placed on the team through the fan balloting. Pitcher Chris Schroder and outfielder Rich Lane also made the roster.
Harrisburg's Players:
Josh Labandeira- Josh is currently batting .282 with 6 home runs and 18 Runs Batted In. He has scored 33 runs and is second on the team with 77 hits.
Rich Lane- Rich is currently 10th in the Eastern League with a .309 average. His 21 doubles ranks 7th in the league and he is also 3rd in the E.L. with 89 hits. Lane has 2 home runs and 33 RBI's and leads the Senators in five statistical categories.
Mike Hinckley- Mike was earlier named to the Florida State League All-Star team and is 3-0 in six starts with Harrisburg. He currently holds a 2.58 ERA and has allowed just 11 earned runs in 38.1 innings of work.
Chris Schroder- Chris is 10th in the Eastern League with 9 saves. In 26 games with Harrisburg, he is 1-2 with a 2.25 ERA. Schroder was promoted for a brief time to triple-A Edmonton earlier this season.
