"We are thrilled to honor these three to kick off our Community All-Stars Team," said Baysox General Manager Mike Munter. They will be honored before the 7:05 p.m. game as part of the pre-game festivities. A few CAST spots still remain so email in your nominations of 100 words or less by July 5th.

Lt. Cmdr. Art Eisenstein is being honored for his heroism when on March 6th when he jumped into the water to rescue several passengers in the water taxi incident in Baltimore. Eisenstein, of Edgewater, is a naval reservist and retrieved two of the victims earning recognition from President Bush and the Secretary of the Navy. Eisenstein who is also the president and owner of Time Piece Jewelers has been a longtime sponsor and fan of the Bowie Baysox.

Bill Seibert is a CAST member for his dedication to teaching baseball in the area during an outstanding 30-year coaching career. Seibert, who recently retired as the head coach of the Bowie High School, has accumulated a 322-74 record during his outstanding career. In his final year at the helm, Seibert led Bowie to a 25-1 record and the 4A championship. Seibert who has been involved with the Baysox for years has even sat in as the official scorer for Baysox games in the past.

Though only 17 years old, Dale Lepore already has a heroic act to his name. On June 17th Lepore put his own life at risk by rescuing employees and patrons of the Andrews Library, located on Andrews Air Force Base during a spring storm that brought over two inches of rain during a two-hour period. Lepore, the son of Staff Sgt. John Lepore of the 89th Security Forces Squadron Combat Arms, heard knocking and screaming coming from the basement library and rushed to the rescue. "My first instinct was to help," said Lepore which is the idea behind the CAST - to recognize those in our community who think about helping others first. To nominate your CAST member send
