The Harrisburg Senators defeated the Altoona Curve 5-3 on Saturday night at FNB Field. The Senators rallied for three runs in the eighth inning and then held on in the ninth as Altoona had the tying runs on base when the game ended. Altoona scored three two-out runs in the fifth inning to take a 3-1 lead.

THE BIG PLAY

With the bases loaded and two outs, Robert Hassell III singled on a line drive up the middle to score two runs and give the Senators a 4-3 lead in the 8 th inning.

FILIBUSTERS

Robert Hassell III went 3-for-5 to extend his on base streak to 19 games... Onix Vega's 7 th inning home run is his first of the season... Dylan Crews' 1 st inning triple is his 2 nd of the series... Holden Powell earned his first win of the season with a scoreless 8 th inning... Tyler Schoff earned his 2 nd save of the year... The Senators have now won seven straight games...
