Harrisburg, PA - RHP Marco Estrada was sensational again for the Harrisburg Senators, delivering six scoreless innings as the Senators beat the Reading Phillies, 10-1. Harrisburg exploded for six runs in the 8th inning.

Estrada allowed just two hits (one bunt) and a walk while striking out eight. Meanwhile, Andrew LeFave went 2-for-3 with a double and three RBIs.

The Senators jumped in front in the bottom of the 4th inning. Ofilio Castro led off with a single. LeFave followed with an RBI double down the left-field line and Devin Ivany plated another run with a triple to make it 2-0. Two batters later, Mike Daniel drove in a run on an infield hit.

Harrisburg tacked on another run in the 7th inning as LeFave's sacrifice fly brought Jorge Padilla in to make it 4-0.

The Phillies broke a 16-inning scoreless streak with a run in the 8th. Greg Golson and Javon Moran started the inning with back-to-back singles and Jason Donald walked to load the bases with nobody out. Jeremy Slayden hit a sacrifice fly to cut it to 4-1, but RHP Beltran Perez induced an inning-ending double play to minimize the damage and end the inning.

The Senators brought ten batters to the plate in the bottom of the 8th, plating six runs. Consecutive two-out RBI singles by Padilla, Roger Bernadina, Castro and LeFave made it 8-1. With two on, Ivany hit a ground ball to third, but a throwing error allowed two more runs to score and finish the scoring.

Estrada notched the win to improve to 4-2. Reading RHP Carlos Carrasco was saddled with the loss to fall to 3-4.

After losing a series opener for the first time this year, the Senators came back to win the series. Harrisburg is 11 games over .500 at 25-14. The Phillies are 18-21 with the loss.

The homestand rolls on Friday at 6:05 PM against the Altoona Curve. LHP Cory VanAllen brings the 2nd-best ERA in the minors (0.71) to the mound against Altoona LHP Kyle Bloom.
