Second to Last Snappers Homestand in 2015

BELOIT, Wisc. - The Beloit Snappers return home on Friday to Pohlman Field for six games, their next to last homestand of the year that will feature fireworks, a bobblehead giveaway, and more.

On Friday, August 21st, fans will be able to enjoy the second to last fireworks night of the season, sponsored by West Bend Mutual in partnership with the Stateline Community Foundation. The show will start after the game and will be set to an Oldies themed soundtrack.

Our third and final bobblehead giveaway of the year will be on Saturday and will feature Hall of Famer Paul Molitor! Molitor, now the manager of the Minnesota Twins, played for the Beloit Brewers in one game on a rehab assignment in 1990. In that game against Kenosha, he went 2-for-4 with a solo home run. He returned to Beloit many times as a roving instructor with the Minnesota Twins. Early arrivals to Saturday's game will be able to get this great giveaway, courtesy of Mercy Health System.

Sunday is the Stateline News Family Fun Sunday. Look for your Buy One, Get One coupon in the Stateline News or Janesville Messenger. Fans over the age of 21 can enjoy 12 oz. bottles of Leinenkugel's for just $2. After the game, kids will be able to run the bases and play catch in the outfield, weather permitting.

WJVL and WCLO sponsor the ever popular Monster Deal Monday. Fans can get two General Admission Tickets, two hot dogs, two popcorns, and two adjustable hats, all for just 24 dollars. 12 oz. Miller drafts are just $1.50 for fans over the age of 21.

The last Two Dollar Tuesday in 2015 is on August 25th against the Kane County Cougars. General Admission Tickets, Hot Dogs, Brats, Pizza, 12 oz. draft Miller Products, and Fountain Soft Drinks can all be purchased for just $2, courtesy of Uncommon Cents Investing!

The homestand ends with our last Tap Take Over of the year with a Taste of Fall. The options on the left field deck will consist of Capital Oktoberfest, Leinenkugel's Harvest Patch Shandy, Leinenkugel's Oktoberfest, Crispin Blackberry Pear Cider, and Jack-O Traveler.

Keep in mind that the next homestand, September 5th-7th, will be the last homestand of the year and will consist of great promotions as well. Announcements of those promotions will be coming soon. Fan Appreciation Night and our last fireworks night of the year will be on Saturday, September 5th , courtesy of Welders Supply.
