ENTERING TONIGHT'S ACTION...

Tonight, the SeaWolves open up a seven-game road trip with a four-game series at Prince George's Stadium against the Bowie Baysox (Baltimore Orioles). The SeaWolves are coming off of a series loss against Reading as the R-Phils swept a doubleheader on Wednesday afternoon. It was only the third series loss for Erie at home in 2007. The 'Wolves are 7-3 in their last 10 games and they currently sit two games behind the Akron Aeros in second place in the Southern Division. Akron downed Harrisburg in the final game of their three game set to gain a game over Erie in the standings. The ‘Wolves are four games ahead of third place Reading and 4.5 games ahead of fourth place Altoona...The Baysox took two of three from Altoona in their last series and are 3-7 in their last 10. Erie has taken seven of the last eight games against the Baysox who sit in fifth place in the division...Erie sends RHP Andrew Kown to the mound in game one of the series. Kown is coming off of his best outing of the season against the Baysox in his last time out. Kown tossed a complete game allowing a run on six hits with no walks and five strikeouts. It was his second win as a starter. Tonight mark's Kown's fourth appearance and his second start against the Baysox...RHP Radhames Liz picked up a win in his last outing against Erie and is 1-1 on the year against the 'Wolves. In that game he went six innings allowing one run on one hit. Liz struck out six while walking five. He has won his last two outings.
