
Fisher Cats Rained Out in Norwich

New Hampshire Fisher Cats News Release
NORWICH, CT - Thursday night's scheduled game in Norwich between the New Hampshire Fisher Cats and the Connecticut Defenders has been postponed because of rain. The teams already had a twi-night doubleheader scheduled for Friday night because of a postponement earlier in the season. This will now be a four-game series in Norwich and tonight's game will be made up when the Fisher Cats return to Norwich in late August.
Friday's first game starts at 6:05pm. Radio coverage begins at 5:45pm on the WGIR Fisher Cats Radio Network (610-AM, Manchester; 930-AM, Rochester; 1540-AM, Exeter) with Bob Lipman. New Hampshire will start LHP Eric Fowler and RHP Kyle Yates. Connecticut will counter with LHP Geno Espineli and RHP Garrett Broshuis.
The Fisher Cats return home next Thursday night to open a six-game series with New Britain at 7:05pm. An Atlas Fireworks Show is planned post-game. It's also Jewish Night at Merchantsauto.com Stadium. For tickets, visit www.nhfishercats.com or call 603-641-2005.
