Aeros, Phillies Postponed

The Akron Aeros and Reading Phillies began game one of a four game series tonight but it was postponed due to rain. Two scoreless innings were played before the rain fell and the field was not in top playing condition after the sudden downpour.

The game is rescheduled as a doubleheader tomorrow night beginning at 6:00 p.m. Game two will start following the conclusion of game one, which will resume at the top of the third inning. Game two will follow and will be seven innings in length. The probable pitchers for both teams will be decided tomorrow.
