Binghamton Rumble Ponies News Release
BINGHAMTON, NY - The Portland Sea Dogs scored seven runs in the ninth to knock off the Binghamton Rumble Ponies 9-5 at Mirabito Stadium on Saturday night. Sea Dogs Third basemen Hudson Potts hit the go-ahead grand slam that completed the rally.
Portland was down 5-2 heading into the ninth against RHP Mitch Ragan. Grant Williams RBI single made it 5-3 and Devlin Granberg hit a two-run double that tied the game at five. After Tyreque Reed was hit by a pitch to load the bases, Potts deposited the first pitch he saw over the left-field wall for the grand slam. Ragan suffered the loss (1-1) and blown save (1).
