THEY GOT EVEN: The Sea Dogs and Binghamton Mets have split the first 2 games of their four-game set, and play game 3 on Wednesday night at NYSEG Stadium...Portland is 3-2 on their seven-game roadtrip and seeking back-to-back road-series wins for the first time since August 19-24, 2014 when they swept an entire six-game trip from Harrisburg and New Hampshire...The 'Dogs have dropped 5 of the last 6 regular season games at NSYEG Stadium.

MISCUES WERE THE DIFFERENCE: Portland committed three errors on Tuesday night, leading to three unearned runs, falling to Binghamton 3-1...The Sea Dogs scored first for the 5th straight game, receiving an RBI single from Blake Tekotte in the second...Binghamton tied the game in their half of the second on a run-scoring single from Gavin Cecchini...In the fifth, two Portland errors led to the go-ahead runs...TJ Rivera and Josh Rodriguez delivered two-out, run-scoring singles...Mike McCarthy (2-3) was the tough-luck loser, giving up 3 unearned runs over 4.2 IP...Seth Lugo (2-0) worked 6 innings to earn the win for the B-Mets.
