BOYS ARE BACK IN TOWN : The Portland Sea Dogs won back-to-back games in New Hampshire to close out a seven-game roadtrip, and return home tonight, opening up a five-game series in four days against the Binghamton Rumble Ponies (Mets affiliate)...The series begins with a single-admission doubleheader, the 'Dogs' third of the season (split previous two)...Lefties Matt Kent and Dedgar Jimenez get the starting nods.

GREAT WAY TO FINISH : Portland completed their first road-series win of the year on Wednesday night, 7-1 over the Fisher Cats...Mike Shawaryn (2-3) recorded a team-high eight strikeouts over seven scoreless frames to earn the win...Shawaryn scattered three hits and issued one walk...Cole Sturgeon capped off the win with a three-run shot in the ninth...Josh Ockimey put Portland ahead with a solo-homer to lead off the second.
