Tonight, the SeaWolves hit the road as they begin a seven-game road trip and a four-game series against the Akron RubberDucks (Cleveland Indians) at Canal Park. Yesterday afternoon, the SeaWolves held a 5-4 lead heading into the fifth inning against Harrisburg. Erie allowed five runs in the fifth and eight total unanswered runs as they dropped the rubber game of the series to the Senators 12-5. The loss dropped the SeaWolves to 0-4-1 in series at UPMC Park...Lefty Tyler Alexander takes the mound for the SeaWolves making his sixth start and first against the Ducks. Alexander took earned his third win of the season in his last start against Altoona on May 4 in game one of a doubleheader. In the game, he allowed a run on seven hits with two walks and a season-high six strikeouts in 5.1 innings of work. Erie won the game 6-1...Righty Cameron Mingo takes the mound for the RubberDucks making his third start. He took a no-decision in his last start against Bowie on May 5. In the game, he allowed a run on two hits with no walks and a strikeout in five innings. Mingo began the season in extended spring training before joining the Ducks.
