TONIGHT'S GAME The Senators welcome the New Hampshire Fisher Cats to FNB Field for a four-game series beginning Thursday night. The Senators won the rubber match of their three game series with Erie12-5, as they set a new season-high in both runs and hits (19). The Senators finished the road trip 2-5 over the seven games. Thursday night's game is the first meeting of the season between the Senators and New Hampshire. The Senators went 3-3 against the Fisher Cats last season. The two clubs are scheduled to play eight games against each other, with four at each team's ballpark.

JUAN SOTO ARRIVES The Nationals announced on Monday afternoon that Juan Soto has been added to the Senators roster from Potomac. The 19-year-old is the 16th best prospect in all of professional baseball and second best prospect in the Nationals organization according to MLB.com. Soto started the season with Low-A Hagerstown before being promoted to High-A Potomac on April 23. The Dominican Republic native was named the South Atlantic League Player of the Month for April and was named Carolina League Player of the Week for the week of 4/29-5/5. Soto is batting .372 overall this season with 12 home runs, the second most in all of Minor League Baseball.

SENS OFFENSE ERUPTS The Senators offense exploded on Wednesday afternoon for a season-high in runs (12) and hits (19) while tying a season-high in walks (9). Jake Lowery finished with a career-high four hits and is also the first Senators player this season to have four or more hits in a game. Lowery and Drew Ward both tied a Senators season-high with three runs scored.

HOW HOT IS THAT IN KELVIN? After batting .197 over his first 16 games, Kelvin Gutierrez is batting .327 over his past 14 games. The 22-year-old is currently riding a Senators season-high nine-game hitting streak and has recorded at least one hit in 12 of his previous 14 games.

FROM EAST TO WEST With their win on Wednesday the Senators are 8-6 against the Eastern League Western Division. In contrast, the Senators are 4-13 against teams in the Eastern Division. After playing 17 out of 20 games against the East, the Senators are now in the midst of a stretch where they play 17 of 21 games against the West. SENATORS STARTING PITCHER Jaron Long starts the series opener for the Senators. The right-hander is 0-2 with a 4.74 ERA in four starts with the Senators this season. Long went six innings and allowed just two unearned runs in his last start against Trenton on May 5. For more information on Long, please turn to page two of the game notes.

NEW HAMPSHIRE STARTING PITCHER The Fisher Cats counter with starter Francisco Rios. The right-hander is 0-2 with an 8.64 ERA across five starts. Rios allowed four runs in four innings in his last start on May 5 against Binghamton. The 23-year-old is in his second season with New Hampshire after he went 3-9 with a 4.29 ERA across 17 starts and 23 games in 2017.
