ROADTRIP CONTINUES ON THURSDAY:The Sea Dogs are 2-4 on their 8-game roadtrip, which continues tonight against the New Hampshire Fisher Cats (Blue Jays affiliate) at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium...With a win tonight, the 'Dogs snap a streak of seven straight series losses...Portland has dropped 15 of 21 this month and trail New Hampshire by six games for fifth place in the Eastern Division...The 'Dogs' last series win was May 26-28 at Binghamton.

'CATS SCORE LATE: New Hampshire scored three times in the final two frames to beat the 'Dogs, 3-1 in game two of the series...Portland took a 1-0 lead on a run-scoring double by Luis Martinez...K.C. Hobson nailed a two-run homer in the seventh off losing pitcher Miguel Celestino (0-1) and Shane Opitz added an RBI single in the eighth...Joel Pineiro (3-2) earned the win, working 7+ innings on eight hits and one run...Portland had runners at second and third with nobody out in the eighth, but Blake McFarland fanned Carlos Asuaje, Jantzen Witte and David Chester...In the ninth, McFarland fanned two of three.
