Thunder catcher Gary Sanchez and former Thunder outfielder Aaron Judge have been selected to represent the New York Yankees at the 2015 SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game at Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati, OH on Sunday July 12.

Sanchez, who is currently on the disabled list, is batting .256 this season with seven doubles, eight home runs and 28 runs driven in. Prior to his injury, Sanchez had driven in 22 runs in his previous 24 games and was batting .284 over his last 37 games played. Sanchez was selected as one of the two catchers on the World Team.

Aaron Judge was promoted to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on June 22 and appeared in 63 games with the Thunder this season. He batted .284 with 12 home runs and 44 RBI against Eastern League competition. The 6'7", 275-pound California native was tied for the Eastern League lead in home runs with Binghamton's Josh Rodriguez at the time of his promotion. Judge also ranked in the top-5 in the Eastern League with 31 extra-base hits (2nd), a .516 slugging percentage (3rd) and 44 RBI (3rd). Judge was selected as one of six outfielders for the U.S. Team.
