The Sea Dogs earned the 6-3 win Friday night and head to the diamond for a pair of games against the Fisher Cats Saturday evening. The 'Dogs look to improve on their 30-13 home record and 8-3 record against the 'Cats.

SATURDAY NIGHT DOUBLE DIP : T he 'Dogs and Fisher Cats (Blue Jays affiliate) play a twinbill on Saturday night at Hadlock Field...With last night's win, the Sea Dogs became the second team in professional baseball to reach 60 wins...With a split, the 'Dogs will clinch the season series with New Hampshire at Hadlock Field...Portland owns the best doubleheader record in the league at 5-1-2.

WAY BACK AND GONE : The Sea Dogs hit three homers and RHP Jeremy Kehrt (1-0) fired six strong innings, leading Portland to a 6-3 win over the Fisher Cats on Friday night...Kehrt made a spot-start for LHP Henry Owens, and gave up six hits, one run, one walk and five strikeouts...Portland got homers from Mike Brenly, David Chester and Derrik Gibson...RHP Noe Ramirez allowed two runs on five hits, but pitched the final three innings to make it 10-for-10 in save opportunities.
