The Sea Dogs have lost seven straight games Hadlock Field, and open up a three-game series with the Trenton Thunder (Yankees affiliate) on Monday night...The franchise record for consecutive losses at home is 8 on June 17-July 1, 2009...The Sea Dogs have lost four overall and were swept by the New Britain Rock Cats (Rockies affiliate) over the weekend...RHP William Cuevas (4-1, 3.28 ER) makes his third start of the season against Trenton.

'CATS SCRATCH IN THE 8TH: New Britain scored four times in the eighth inning off Jonathan Aro (3-2) and completed a three-game sweep of the Sea Dogs, winning 7-3 on Sunday afternoon...Portland committed a season-high 5 errors, including in the eighth, leading to 2 unearned runs...Tyler Massey snapped a 3-3 tie with a two-run single, and Tom Murphy and David Dahl added RBIs...Keury De La Cruz went 2-for-4 with a double and a 2 runs scored...Tim Roberson went 2-for-3 and tied the game with an RBI infield-single in the sixth...Gus Schlosser (6-2) tossed 3 hitless innings to earn the win.
