New Britain Rock Cats LHP Yohan Flande

Today, the Eastern League named Rock Cats LHP Yohan Flande (pronounced Flan-day) EL Pitcher of the week, going 2-0 in two starts this past week. Flande pitched a 9-inning, one-hit complete game shutout Saturday at Portland (Sea Dogs lineup included Red Sox OF Shane Victorino).

He is the third Rock Cats player to be honored by EL this season. SS Trevor Story was named EL Player of Month for April and C Tom Murphy was EL Player of Week on April 19.
