Tonight, the SeaWolves continue a six-game homestand as they open a three-game series against the Akron RubberDucks (Cleveland Indians) at Jerry Uht Park. Yesterday afternoon, the SeaWolves were shut down by Reading ace Aaron Nola, who allowed just one run over eight innings, sending Erie to the loss in the series finale...Tonight, righty Austin Kubitza makes his sixth start of the season and his first against the RubberDucks . Erie has struggled in Kubita's starts this season going just 1-4. Kubitza took his second straight loss in his last start on May 6 at Trenton. In the game, he allowed a season-high seven runs, six earned, on five hits with four walks and seven strikeouts in 4.2 innings. Erie lost the game 9-1...RHP Will Roberts takes the mound for the Ducks making his seventh start and first against the SeaWolves. Roberts took a
no-decision in his last start against Bowie on May 6. In the game, he allowed six runs, five earned, on seven hits with a walk and four strikeouts in six innings of work. Roberts made six starts against the SeaWolves in 2014, posting a 3-2 record and 2.95 ERA.
