Scott Suggs Selected for Three-Point Contest at NBA D-League All-Star 2016

The NBA Development League announced Wednesday its rosters for the 2016 NBA D-League All-Star Three-Point Contest and NBA D-League Slam Dunk presented by Verizon. Guards Scott Suggs and John Jordan will represent Raptors 905 at the events set for Saturday, February 13 at Ricoh Coliseum in Toronto.

Suggs will take part in the three-point contest. He is currently ranked 12th in the NBA D-League in three-pointers made per game (2.3) and 19th in three-point percentage (.431). Suggs also leads Raptors 905 in total points scored (482) and is averaging 16.1 points and 34.8 minutes in 30 games this season.

Jordan will participate in the slam dunk competition. Acquired Tuesday from the Erie BayHawks, Jordan has split the 2015-16 season between the BayHawks and Delaware 87ers. In 18 games, he is averaging 6.8 points, 2.7 assists, 1.8 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 17.6 minutes.

The NBA D-League Three-Point Contest tips off NBA D-League All-Star festivities Saturday, February 13 at 1:30 p.m. ET. NBA D-League Slam Dunk presented by Verizon will take place at halftime of the 2016 NBA D-League All-Star Game presented by Kumho Tire, which begins at 2 p.m. ET.

Raptors 905 is back in action Friday, February 5 when the club visits the Texas Legends at 8 p.m. ET.
