
Santa Cruz Warriors Dominate Stockton Kings, 124-91

SANTA CRUZ, CA - The Santa Cruz Warriors (4-2) beat the Stockton Kings (2-3), 124-91, in a Monday matinee matchup at Kaiser Permanente Arena.
Santa Cruz guard Kalob Ledoux led both teams with 26 points (10-13 FG) and added six rebounds. Center LJ Figueroa followed closely with 23 points, four rebounds and three assists and Golden State Warriors two-way forward Quinndary Weatherspoon finished with 18 points and five assists.
Stockton Center Neemias Queta finished the game with 22 points and a game-high 11 rebounds. Guard Jahmi'us Ramsey also added 22 points, along with four rebounds and four assists and forward Ade Murkey closed out the game with 12 points and four rebounds.
Monday's MLK Day matchup between the Santa Cruz Warriors and Stockton Kings saw a competitive first quarter with the two teams going back and forth with the lead, however Figueroa's eight first quarter points gave the Sea Dubs a 25-18 lead heading into the second quarter. Santa Cruz extended the lead by 14 points to close out the second quarter, 56-42, over Stockton. The Warriors offense exploded in the third quarter with help from big threes by Ledoux and guard Frankie Ferrari, bringing Santa Cruz's lead to as many as 23 points. A dunk at the buzzer by Santa Cruz guard Ryan Taylor gave the Sea Dubs a 92-70 lead over the Kings heading into the final frame. Warriors Center Lamont West had nine fourth quarter points to help the Warriors continue to extend the lead, ultimately securing the win over the visiting Stockton Kings, 124-91.
