Mad Ants Make Trade with Grand Rapids

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The Fort Wayne Mad Ants, presented by Lutheran Health Network, the NBA G League affiliate of the Indiana Pacers, announced today they have made a trade with the Grand Rapids Gold for D.J. Johnson.
Johnson has played three games with Grand Rapids this regular season, averaging 6.2 minutes per contest. During the showcase cup season, Johnson played in 11 games with Grand Rapids, averaging 4.6 points per game. Johnson previously appeared for the Santa Cruz Warriors in the 2019-20 season where he played in 23 games, averaging 5.7 points and 4.7 rebounds per contest.
In exchange for Johnson, the Gold will receive the returning player rights of CJ Wilcox, who last played for Fort Wayne during the 2019-2020 season.
