
Two Rio Grande Valley Vipers Suspended
January 17, 2022 - NBA G League (G League) News Release
NEW YORK - The NBA G League announced today that Rio Grande Valley Vipers guard Christian Vital and forward Kahlil Whitney have each been suspended one game without pay for leaving the bench area during an on-court altercation. The incident occurred with 1:34 remaining in the second overtime of Rio Grande Valley's 117-115 loss to the Agua Caliente Clippers on Jan. 15 at Toyota Arena.
Vital and Whitney will serve their suspensions tonight when the Vipers face the Austin Spurs at the H-E-B Center at 6 p.m. ET.
