San Antonio Rampage News Release
THIS WEEK'S GAMES
Tuesday, Jan. 6 at Adirondack Flames
Glens Falls Civic Center, 6:00 p.m.
There were offensive fireworks the last time the Rampage and the Flames met, as the teams combined for 13 goals on Oct. 29. San Antonio finished on the wrong end of a 7-6 decision and will look for their first win in the season series against Adirondack. Bobby But- ler's goal and two assists led the Rampage in the first meeting.
Wednesday, Jan. 7 at Rochester Americans
Blue Cross Arena, 6:05 p.m.
The Rampage and the Amerks will meet for the first time this season, and the game can be seen live on Fox Sports Southwest with Dan Weiss and Andrew Monaco calling the action. Phil Varone is Roch- ester's scoring leader with eight goals and 21 assists.
Saturday, Jan. 10 vs. Iowa Wild
AT&T Center, 7:00 p.m.
The Rampage face the Iowa Wild for the fifth time this season on Saturday, their only matchup of the week against a West Division opponent. San Antonio is 3-1-0-0 against the Wild this season with Butler and Mark Mancari leading the way. Butler has three goals and an assist in the season series while Mancari has added two tallies and three helpers.
Sunday, Jan. 11 vs. Toronto Marlies
AT&T Center, 4:00 p.m.
The Rampage and the Marlies meet for the final game of a four-game season series. San Antonio earned its first win of the season against Toronto on Saturday, escaping with a 4-3 overtime victory. It marked the Silver and Black's first win in their last eight contests against Toronto.
VALUE NIGHT
Saturday, Jan. 10
The Rampage will host Value Night on Saturday, Jan. 10. Fans can purchase a pack of four tickets for $40, and the package will include a hot dog, chips and a soda in addition to the tickets.
RECORDS: The Rampage tied a franchise high for goals in a game, potting eight against the Utica Comets on Thursday afternoon. San Antonio's six goals scored in the second period also tied a franchise high.
MILESTONES: With two assists Thursday, Brett Olson reached the 50th career assist milestone. Tuesday's game at Adirondack will be the 300th pro game for de- fenseman Blake Parlett and the 200th AHL game for defenseman Jesse Blacker.
ICE CHIPS: Garrett Wilson - Rampage Winger
After a 10-game stretch in which he didn't record a point, left wing Garrett Wilson has been nearly unstoppable. The 6-3, 206-pound forward has notched six goals and one assist over San Antonio's last six games. Of his six tallies, two have come on the power play and one has been a game-tying goal. Wilson's 13 goals on the season rank second on the team behind Bobby Butler, and he has added eight assists for a total of 21 points.
