'Dogs Start Season-Long, Seven-Game Homestand

Following a 1-1-1-0 road trip to the Midwest United States last week, the Hamilton Bulldogs start a season-long, seven-game homestand with three games this week.

On Friday, Jan. 9, the Bulldogs will host the Utica Comets (American Hockey League affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks) at FirstOntario Centre at 7:30 p.m. in the second of eight meetings between the two teams this season, as well as the first of four in Hamilton. Utica took the first meeting 3-2 on Nov. 19.

On Saturday, Jan. 10, the 'Dogs will be visited by the Lake Erie Monsters (AHL affiliate of the Colorado Avalanche) at 7 p.m. in the third of six matches between the clubs in 2014-15 as well as the second of three contests at FirstOntario Centre. Each team has a win so far in the season series.

On Sunday, Jan. 11, the Bulldogs will face off against the Oklahoma City Barons (AHL affiliate of the Edmonton Oilers) at FirstOntario Centre at 3 p.m. in the first of two games between Hamilton and Oklahoma this season and the only game between them on the 'Dogs ice.
