Salt Lake Bees News Release

SACRAMENTO (April 12, 2015)- The Sacramento River Cats rolled to a 7-2 win over the Salt Lake Bees on Sunday afternoon to take three out of four games in the teams' season opening series. Sacramento grabbed a 3-0 lead in the fourth on a solo home run by Adam Duvall and a two run single by Guillermo Quiroz, but the Bees got two of those runs back on a two run homer in the fifth inning by Jett Bandy. That would be as close as Salt Lake would get, as the River Cats would score two runs in the sixth and two more in the eighth.

Bees' starter Alex Sanabia (0-1) took the loss, as he worked five innings and allowed five runs on eight hits with seven strikeouts and two walks. Daniel Robertson led Salt Lake with two of the team's six hits. The Bees open a four game series at Fresno on Monday night.

The Bees will play their home opener at Smith's Ballpark on Friday, April 17 at 6:35 p.m. with a fireworks show postgame. Tickets and additional information is available at www.slbees.com.
