
Salmon Kings announce McLeod as team captain

Victoria Salmon Kings News Release
Victoria, BC - The Victoria Salmon Kings, proud affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks and Manitoba Moose, announced today that center Kiel McLeod will again wear the 'C' on his jersey as the Salmon King's captain.
McLeod, in his second season with Victoria, was named team captain last season. Jordan Krestanovich and Gary Gladue were named as alternate captains for the 2007-08 season.
McLeod and Krestanovich are considered veterans by ECHL standards (260 professional games played). McLeod has participated in 286 games in his four years as a professional and Krestanovich has played in 386 games over six seasons. Gladue has suited up for 134 games over two years of professional play.
The Salmon Kings will host the Las Vegas Wranglers for the ROCK THE RINK home opener series on Oct 26 and 27. Individual game tickets are now on sale! Call 220-7889.
