- Rematch of last season's North Division Finals, won by Dayton in seven games.
- Cyclones were 7-4-1 against Dayton in 2006-07.
- Bombers allowed eight shorthand goals in 2006-07, tying for fourth in the ECHL.
- Cincinnati was second in the ECHL on the penalty kill on the road with 86.9 percent (213-for-245) in 2006-07.



Elmira Jackals (1-0-0) at Trenton Devils (1-0-0) 7:00 ET
- First-ever meeting between the two teams.
- Trenton's Dave Caruso stopped 46 of 48 shots in a 3-2 win against Reading on Friday.
- Elmira's Scott May scored two goals in a 4-2 win over Wheeling on Friday.
- Stephen Wood, Jim Henkel and Joe Rooney each had a goal for the Devils on Friday.



Columbia Inferno (0-1-0) at South Carolina Stingrays (0-0-0) 7:05 ET
- Columbia's Patrick Wellar had two assists in a 5-4 loss at Charlotte on Friday.
- South Carolina was 4-2-0 at home and 8-3-0 overall against Columbia in 2006-07.
- Inferno's Owen Fussey scored a goal and had an assist against Charlotte on Friday.
- Stingrays tied for fourth in the ECHL on the power play at home with 19.2 percent (47-for-245) in 2006-07.



Reading Royals (0-1-0) at Johnstown Chiefs (0-1-0) 7:05 ET
- Andrew Martens had a goal and an assist for the Chiefs in 4-2 loss against Wheeling on Thursday.
- Reading's Patrick Jarrett had two assists in a 3-2 loss at Trenton on Friday.
- Johnstown was 3-1-1 at home and 7-3-1 overall against Reading in 2006-07.
- Royals were 12-7-3 when tied after the first period in 2006-07.



Mississippi Sea Wolves (0-1-0) at Florida Everblades (1-0-0) 7:30 ET
- Florida was 3-for-8 on the power play (37.5 percent) on Friday.
- Lance Monych scored the only goal for the Sea Wolves in a 6-1 loss at Florida on Friday.
- Everblades' Mathieu Melanson had two goals in 6-1 win on Friday.
- Mississippi's Travis Lisabeth had an assist on Friday.



Pensacola Ice Pilots (0-1-0) at Gwinnett Gladiators (1-0-0) 7:35 ET
- Gladiators' Jeff Campbell had four assists in a 5-3 win at Pensacola on Friday.
- Rookie defenseman Jean-Claude Sawyer had a goal and an assist for Pensacola on Friday.
- Gwinnett went 3-for-12 on the power play (25.0 percent) against Pensacola on Friday.
- Daniel Sullivan had two assists for the Ice Pilots on Friday.



Texas Wildcatters (0-1-0) at Charlotte Checkers (1-0-0) 7:35 ET
- Rookie defenseman Cleve Kinley had a goal and an assist for Texas in a 6-3 loss at Augusta on Friday.
- Checkers' Blake Bellefeuille had two goals and an assist in a 5-4 win against Columbia on Friday.
- Wildcatters were 4-1-1 against Charlotte in 2006-07.
- Charlotte had 44 points (22-14-0) at home in 2006-07.



Victoria Salmon Kings (1-0-0) at Idaho Steelheads (0-0-1) 7:10 MT
- Victoria beat the defending Kelly Cup Champions 2-1 in overtime on Friday.
- Rookie Mark Bomersback scored the only goal for the Steelheads on Friday.
- Patrick Coulombe scored the game-winning goal at 1:02 in overtime for the Salmon Kings on Friday.
- Idaho was seventh in the ECHL on the power play with 18.1 percent (84-for-463) in 2006-07.



Fresno Falcons (0-0-1) at Bakersfield Condors (1-0-0) 7:00 PT
- Rematch of last season's American Conference Semifinals, won by Bakersfield in six games.
- Bakersfield's Mark Derlago had a goal and an assist in a 3-2 win against Stockton on Friday.
- Oren Eizenman had the only goal for the Falcons in a 2-1 overtime loss against Las Vegas on Friday.
- Condors were 5-0-0 at home and 7-0-2 overall against Fresno in 2006-07.



Utah Grizzlies (0-1-0) at Phoenix RoadRunners (1-0-0) 7:11 PT
- Phoenix's win on Friday was its first at home since beating Bakersfield 3-2 in overtime on Feb. 23.
- Justin Bourne and Christian Gaudet each had a goal for the Grizzlies on Friday.
- RoadRunners' Cody Rudkowsky stopped 26 of 28 shots on Friday.
- Utah was 4-3-1 against Phoenix in 2006-07.

- Affiliations with 26 of the 30 teams in the National Hockey League, marking the 11th consecutive season that the league has had affiliations with at least 20 teams in the NHL.

- 333 former ECHL players have played in NHL.

- There were 69 former ECHL players on NHL opening-day rosters and there have been 188 former ECHL players who have played their first game in the NHL in the past six seasons.

- Twenty-six former ECHL players made their NHL debut in 2006-07, including two who played in both the ECHL and the NHL as goaltender Yutaka Fukufuji played for Reading and Los Angeles while defenseman Bryan Young skated for Stockton and Edmonton. Dave McKee played for Augusta and dressed for five games as the backup goaltender for Stanley Cup champion Anaheim.

- Four former ECHL players have made their NHL debut this season: former Johnstown Chiefs and Fresno Falcons goaltender Dmitri Patzold (San Jose on Oct. 7), former San Diego goaltender Tyler Weiman (Colorado on Oct. 4), former Charlotte right wing Craig Weller (Phoenix on Oct. 4) and former Phoenix RoadRunners center Daniel Winnik (Phoenix Coyotes on Oct. 4).

- Record 51 former ECHL players played their first NHL game in 2005-06.

- ECHL has been represented on last seven Stanley Cup champions.

- 14 Former ECHL coaches on NHL staffs.

- ECHL has been represented on last 18 Calder Cup champions.

- ECHL has affiliations with 26 of the 29 teams in the American Hockey League and for the past 18 years there has been an ECHL player on the Calder Cup Champion.

- The Stockton Thunder and the City of Stockton will host the 16th Annual ECHL All-Star Game at Stockton Arena on Jan. 23, 2008 and the 11th Annual ECHL All-Star Skills Competition on Jan. 22, 2008.

- In the last five seasons the ECHL has had more call-ups to the AHL than all other professional leagues combined with over 2,000 call-ups involving more than 1,000 players since 2002-03.
ECHL and its member teams contributed nearly $3 million for charity and relief funds in 2006-07.
