St. Paul Saints News Release
ST. PAUL, MN - Mother nature was not in the mood for baseball in St. Paul on Saturday night as a rainstorm caused the Saints and Saltdogs game to be suspended in the bottom of the 5th inning. Play will resume tomorrow at 12:05 pm with the Saltdogs leading 8-5. The Saints will have a runner on first base and nobody out with Jacob Butler at the plate.
Following the conclusion of the suspended game, the Saints will take on the Saltdogs in a 7 inning series finale. The second game will get underway approximately 30 minutes after game one ends and the Saints will send RHP Todd Mathison (2-0, 0.00) to the mound against Lincoln RHP Tim Brown (4-1, 3.23). All of Sunday's action can be seen on the Saints Cable Network (check saintsbaseball.com for the channel in your area) and heard on Relevant Radio 1330.
