San Jose SaberCats News Release
SAN JOSE, Calif. (Feb. 2, 2004) â Veterans Jerry Reese and Shalon Baker were two of six players released by the San Jose SaberCats as the team set its opening day roster for the 2004 season today. The club also placed six players on injured reserve to bring the roster to 23, one short of the league maximum.
Also released by the team were linemen Andrew Mitchell and Eric Everley, WR/DB Charles Pauley and WR/DB DeVon Banks.
