With 4,500 season ticket holders, Austin Wranglers single game tickets now on sale

AUSTIN, Texas, February 2, 2004--- With already more than 4,500 season ticket holders, the Austin Wranglers, the Arena Football League's newest franchise, have released single-game tickets for the team's 2004 inaugural season. Tickets will go on sale today through Texas Box Office and can be purchased for as little as $8 by calling 477.6060, logging on to www.texasboxoffice.com, visiting the Frank Erwin Center's Red River box office Monday-Friday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m., or visiting any HEB grocery store.

The Wranglers will make their debut in the Erwin Center at 2 p.m., Sunday, February 22, when they take on 2003 ArenaBowl-champion and National Southern Division-rival Tampa Bay Storm.

The Wranglers open on the road in Orlando in an evening contest Friday, February 13. Tampa Bay will be the second-consecutive National Southern Division team Austin will face. The Wranglers will also host the two other 2004 AFL expansion franchises, the Philadelphia Soul and New Orleans VooDoo at the Erwin Center. The 2004 home schedule also features contests against the Carolina Cobras, Indiana Firebirds, Georgia Force, Orlando Predators and in-state rival Dallas Desperados.

Season tickets and group tickets are still available through the Wranglers ticket office by calling 233.7800. Fans that purchased season tickets prior to January 22, are scheduled to receive their tickets via express delivery by February 15. All fans that purchased a season ticket package after that date can pick their tickets up at the Erwin Center Red River box office with photo identification after February 10.
