Wranglers Take Time Off From Football To Help Out Their Community

AUSTIN- The Austin Wranglers were out in the Central Texas community on Saturday July 19th to volunteer time to the youth football programs. The Leander and Cedar Park area hosted their 2008 LCP Kick-Off Picnic from 6-9:00 p.m. out at Vista Ridge High School Football Stadium.
The event allowed local youth to sign up for Pop Warner Football and Cheerleading and was also a time for families to socialize and meet one another. Wrangler football players assisted with registration and spent time getting to know the new youth football players. The Lady Wranglers were on hand to assist the cheerleaders with sign up, cheers, and Wranglers mascot Trigger made an appearance for pictures and autographs as well.
The Wranglers will be at Travis High School on July 25th to show their support for the Extended Care Camp For Kids. Lady Wranglers, players and staff will greet the children at 9:00 a.m. when they arrive at camp and will be signing autographs, taking pictures, and spend time getting to know the campers. The Austin Wranglers will feature Fan Appreciate Night on July 26th when they'll wrap up the regular season against the Bossier-Shreveport BattleWings at U.S. Army Field at the Frank Erwin Center.
