
Denney Earns Schutt Offensive Player of the Week Honors

(North Little Rock, AR) - Arkansas Twisters receiver Chris Denney is the Schutt af2 Offensive Player of the Week after a record setting performance against Bossier-Shreveport.
Denney finished the game with 14 catches for a Twisters' record 237 receiving yards and five touchdowns. He breaks the team record Denney set earlier this year. The 14 catches are third most in team history, and he set a team record with his fifth 5 touchdown game of the season.
The University of Nebraska at Omaha product also set a new Twisters' record for points in a season. He entered the game against Bossier-Shreveport tied for the record with former Twisters and NFL player Reggie Swinton at 222. Denney finished the game with 32 points (5 touchdowns and a two point conversion) to up his season total to 254.
The Offensive Player of the Year candidate has 100 catches for 1411 receiving yards and 41 touchdowns in 10 games this season.
Schutt is the official equipment supplier of the af2 and honors the league's most outstanding player each week during the season.
