Ryznar and Tallackson Returned to Albany

Albany N.Y. - The Albany River Rats announced today that left wing Jason Ryznar and right wing Barry Tallackson have been reassigned by the New Jersey Devils of the National Hockey League.

Ryznar, 23, went scoreless with a minus one rating in eight games with New Jersey this season. He posted four goals and 16 assists for 20 points along with a minus one rating in 48 games with the River Rats during the 2005-06 campaign. The Anchorage, Alaska native was drafted by the Devils with their third choice (64th overall) in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft and made his NHL debut back on January 24, 2006.

Tallackson, 22, did not see any action since his recall on March 9th and recorded one goal and one assist with a minus two rating in 10 NHL games this year. He ranks second on the River Rats with 36 (14-22) points with a plus two rating and five power play goals in 49 games during the 2005-06 season. The native of Grafton, North Dakota was New Jersey's second choice (53rd overall) in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft.

The River Rats visit the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins tonight in a 7:05pm road contest from Wachovia Arena at Casey Plaza.
