
Ryan Reed joins Legends outfield

LEXINGTON, KY. - The Houston Astros announced the promotion of outfielder Ryan Reed to Lexington. Reed comes to the Legends from the Greeneville Astros of the Appalachian League.
Reed was hitting .366 with seven home runs and 25 RBI in 25 games with Greeneville. Reed was selected by the Astros in the 21st round of the 2004 June Amateur Draft out of Louisiana State University. Reed will wear jersey number 24.
