
Wing Fling is tomorrow

The Hagerstown Suns are hosting the 1st-ever "Wing Fling" wing tasting event. Tomorrow evening, Friday, July 22nd, from 6-10pm local restaurants and caterers will be at Municipal Stadium with the hopes of being crowned as having "the Area's BEST Chicken Wing."
The Wing Tasting event will also feature live music, courtesy of "Crunch Mob," that will feature Rock-n-Roll hits from the 80's and 90's. Plus, a wing eating competition will take place for fans during the event.
The public will determine the "Best Chicken Wing" at the event via the redemption of tasting coupons. Whichever restaurant/caterer receives the most tasting coupons will win the championship. In addition, vendors will be competing for the "Best Booth" display. Participating restaurants aiming for the championship include: Texas Roadhouse, Buffalo Wild Wings, Big Bats Cafe, The Ground Round, Andrew's Steak & Seafood, Leiter's Fine Catering, The Stadium Tavern and Longhorn Steakhouse.
Tickets for the event are as follows: $8 for adults and $6 for youth ages 4-12. Kids 3 and under are free. Each adult ticket purchased includes 10 free sample tickets and each youth ticket purchased includes 8 free sample tickets. Each sample ticket can be redeemed for either one free wing at any participating restaurant or for a free 12oz. soda. Additional sample tickets can be purchased at the event for $1 each.
