BRIDGEPORT, Conn. - The American Hockey League announced today that Bridgeport Sound Tigers defenseman Ryan Pulock has been named to the 2014-15 All-Rookie Team. The All-Rookie Team was voted on by AHL coaches, players and media in each of the AHL's 30 member cities.

Pulock, 20, ranks second among all AHL skaters with 13 power-play goals. His 17 goals are also second most in the league by a defenseman and the most ever in a season by a Sound Tigers blueliner.

A first-round selection (15th overall) by the New York Islanders in the 2013 National Hockey League Draft, Pulock has added nine assists for 26 points in just 48 games this season. The Dauphin, Man., native was originally chosen to represent the Sound Tigers at the 2015 AHL All-Star Classic, but withdrew due to injury.
