
Archibald and Dea Assigned to Wheeling

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - The Pittsburgh Penguins have assigned forwards Josh Archibald and Jean-Sebastien Dea to the Wheeling Nailers (ECHL) from the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, it was announced today.
Archibald has recorded five goals, six assists and 24 penalty minutes in 41 games with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton this season. The 22-year-old rookie also has registered has compiled 10 points (6G-4A) in eight games for the Nailers.
A sixth-round pick of the Pittsburgh Penguins (174th overall) in 2011, Archibald was a finalist for the Hobey Baker Award last season as the NCAA's top college hockey player after ranking third in the nation with 29 goals for the University of Nebraska-Omaha.
Dea, 21, has skated in 41 games for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, amassing nine goals, 10 assists and 14 penalty minutes. Currently in his first professional season, Dea has also posted four goals and two assists over 12 contests with Wheeling.
Dea set career highs in 2013-14 with 49 goals for Rouyn-Noranda of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League -fourth most in the league - and ranked second on the team with 75 points. In three seasons with the Huskies, Dea totaled 192 points (111G-81A) over 183 contests.
