Rush Head Coach will host "Hockey in Heels" Fundraiser Event Wednesday, February 6

On behalf of the Rapid City Rush Hockey Club and the Rushmore Hockey Association, Coach Joe Ferras and Assistant General Manager Tim Hill will host the first annual "Hockey in Heels" Fundraiser Event. This event offers women an opportunity to get on the ice and learn the game of hockey from the basics of the equipment to the rules and regulations of the game.
"It's a great opportunity for us to work with the local Hockey Association; and it's a fun yet informative evening for the ladies. We want to make sure they leave with a better understanding of this great game," Ferras said.
Pens and paper aren't required, but wine and hors d'oeuvres will be provided.
Cost for the fundraiser is $25 and all proceeds go to Rushmore Hockey Association. "Hockey in Heels" will be held on February 6, 2008 at the Rushmore Hockey Association Ice Arena from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
