
Oilers Take Rage To School, 4-2; Mr. Beauregard Scores Twice

The Tulsa Oilers did their homework and defeated the Rocky Mountain Rage 4-2 Tuesday afternoon in the third annual American Airlines/TWU Local 514 Tulsa Public School Day Game.
Rocky Mountain jumped on top with first period goals by David Morelli and Scott Wray. David Alexandre Beauregard got the Oilers on the board with the only goal of the second period.
Kai Magnussen tied it for the Oilers in a goalmouth scramble three and half minutes into the third period. Jeff Christian gave the Oilers the lead with just 2:43 left to play, and Beauregard sealed the victory with an empty net goal with 1:08 left to play.
The win makes the Oilers 1-1-1 all time in American Airlines/TWU Local 514 school day games.
The Oilers host the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees on Friday at 7:35 p.m.
