TONIGHT: The Binghamton Rumble Ponies continue their final road series of the year as they play the third game of a four-game set against the New Hampshire Fisher Cats.

LAST TIME OUT: The Rumble Ponies fell to the Fisher Cats 1-0 in 11 innings Friday. Chad Spanberger hit a walk-off RBI single in the 11th to hand the Ponies their second walk-off loss in the last three games. Mickey Jannis pitched eight solid innings, in which he allowed five hits and struck out five. Binghamton's best chances to score came in the second when they had second and third with one out and in the 10th when they loaded the bases with nobody out.

MAZEIKA NAMED SEASON-ENDING ALL-STAR: Patrick Mazeika was named to the 2019 Eastern League Season-Ending All-Star Team as a catcher. In 106 games, he is hitting .256 and leads the team with 24 doubles, 15 home runs and 64 RBI. He ranks fourth in the league in RBI. Mazeika was also one of five Rumble Ponies named to the Mid-Season All-Star Game, which was played last month in Richmond, VA. Last night, the Ponies catcher went 2-4.

VASQUEZ SMACKS TWO HITS IN DEBUT: In his first game at the Double-A level, Jeremy Vasquez went 2-3 with a pair of singles and a walk. He hit .277 with 26 doubles, five home runs and 61 RBI in 125 games with St. Lucie (A+) this season.

SPANBERGER DELIVERS FOR CATS: Following his walk-off RBI single in the 11th inning Friday, Chad Spanberger now has four RBI over the first two games of the series. In 16 games against the Rumble Ponies this season, he has a team-high 10 RBI and is hitting .288 (17-59).

NOT AGAIN, 1-0 : After Friday night, the Rumble Ponies have lost to the Fisher Cats by the score of 1-0 in three of their last four games. New Hampshire has won five straight against Binghamton. Overall, the Ponies have lost 10 of their last 11 games and were held to either one or no runs in six of the 10 losses. Binghamton has fallen into last place in the Eastern Division.

GONZALEZ, SANCHEZ LEAD SYRACUSE METS TO NINTH STRAIGHT WIN: Former Rumble Pony Harol Gonzalez pitched seven innings and allowed just one run on four hits with three strikeouts to improve to 4-0 at Triple-A as the Syracuse Mets defeated the Rochester Red Wings 5-1 Friday. Ali Sanchez went 3-3 with two doubles and two RBI. The former Binghamton catcher also threw out two baserunners. Syracuse has now won nine straight games.

COMING UP: The Rumble Ponies play their final road game of the season when they close out this four-game series with the Fisher Cats Sunday at 1:35 PM. The Ponies then close out the season with nine games at home, beginning Monday.
