TONIGHT: The Binghamton Rumble Ponies and the Hartford Yard Goats continue their three-game series at Dunkin' Donuts Park. This series is the Ponies' only three games away from home in a 13-game span.

LAST TIME OUT: The Rumble Ponies fell to the Yard Goats 3-1 in the series opener Friday night. Jason Krizan hit his 11th home run of the season with a solo blast to lead off the fifth inning. The score remained 1-0 until the bottom of the eighth inning when a Luis Castro plated the first Hartford run with a sacrifice fly. With the bases loaded, Chris Rabago drove in two runs with a single off Joe Zanghi. Ponies starter David Peterson received a no-decision despite throwing five scoreless innings and allowing just one hit.

KRIZAN CLIMBS LEADERBOARD: Jason Krizan's solo homer in the fifth inning Friday was his 11th of the season and moves him two behind Patrick Mazeika for the team lead. He now has 53 RBI, which is second to Mazeika's 57.

WILSON'S STRONG STARTS: Tommy Wilson has pitched at least six innings in each of his last four starts and has gone seven innings in his last two starts. Over these four games, he is 3-0 and has allowed just three runs over 26 innings. The last time the Ponies lost one of Wilson's starts was June 25.

ROUGH 12 GAMES: After falling Friday night, the Rumble Ponies are now 3-9 in their last 12 games. This stretch includes losing three of four to Erie and dropping two out of three to both Akron and Harrisburg. Prior to this skid, Binghamton had won seven of nine.

SHUTTING THE DOOR: Friday night was the Yard Goats' 42nd save of the season, the most in the Eastern League. Rayan Gonzalez earned his fourth save of the year with a 1-2-3 ninth inning. Meanwhile, Binghamton is tied for seventh with 29 saves.

MELENDEZ EXTENDS HIT STREAK: Hartford's Manuel Melendez extended his hit streak to 11 games with a double to begin the Yard Goats' three-run rally in the eighth. He ranks second in the EL with 115 hits.

STETSON CONNECTION: Patrick Mazeika and Hartford's Vance Vizcaino were college teammates at Stetson University. They were there together for the 2015 season. They both received Atlantic Sun First Team All-Conference selections during their time at Stetson.

COMING UP: The Rumble Ponies and the Yard Goats wrap up their three-game series Sunday evening. RHP Tony Dibrell faces fellow righty Heath Holder.
