Auburn Doubledays News Release
TROY, NY - The Doubledays' rubber match with the ValleyCats on the road was canceled due to rain. It was the second game of the six-game road trip and this season that has been canceled due to rain and will not be made up.
After Tri-City won game one of the series 2-0 and Auburn took game two 7-5, the rubber match was scheduled for Friday at 7:05 PM, but canceled due to rain. Because the two teams will not play each other again during the regular season, the game will not be made up.
The Doubledays return home Saturday at 5:05 PM to host a single admission doubleheader against the Batavia Muckdogs at Falcon Park. The final game of the series will be Sunday at 2:05 PM. Auburn's probable starters in order are Taylor Guilbeau (Saturday Game 1), Grant Borne (Saturday Game 2), and Mathew Crownover (Sunday Game).
