ValleyCats, GE to Host Kids in Free Event on Saturday, August 22

TROY, NY - The Tri-City ValleyCats have partnered with GE to host a GE Kids in Free Days event on Saturday, August 22 at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium, for "Weekend at Bernie's" - Bernie Williams Poster Giveaway Night."

The ValleyCats host the Connecticut Tigers at 7:00 p.m., and children 12 & under will be admitted free of charge with the purchase of an adult ticket, courtesy of GE. Tickets must be purchased over the phone at 518-629-CATS (2287), or at the Joseph L. Bruno Stadium Box Office.

That night, the ValleyCats will be giving away 2,000 Bernie Williams posters of his performance from Schenectady Night Out in July, presented by Team Ferior Sports. There will also be special giveaways throughout the night that include autographed photos of Bernie. The ValleyCats will also be raffling off a life-size autographed Bernie Williams bobblehead, with proceeds going towards the Make-A-Wish Foundation of NENY and the Ronald McDonald House of Albany.

To cap off the night, 'Cats fans will be treated to a postgame fireworks extravaganza presented by Price Chopper.
