Royals Trade Mike Salekin to Stockton

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs of the National Hockey League and the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League, today announced that the organization has activated defenseman Mike Salekin ["SAL eh kin"] from the 3-Day Injured Reserve and traded him to the Stockton Thunder of the ECHL for future considerations. In ten games with the Royals this season, Salekin scored two goals, assisted on four others (six points) and picked up twenty-two penalty minutes. In separate transactions, the Royals also: (i) placed forward Jason Payne on the 3-Day Injured Reserve; and (ii) released goaltender Rob Lemelin as the Emergency Back-up Goaltender.

The Royals return to the Sovereign Center on Wednesday, November 26 (7:05 pm), when the Trenton Devils come to Reading for College Night. Wednesday's game will be broadcast live on the Royals Radio Network Presented by Transmissions by Arbogast (True Oldies WRAW 1340 am in Reading; and The Ticket WLAN 1390 am in Lancaster), as well as on the internet via webcast hosted by Sportsjuice.com, which can be accessed through the Royals website.
